Alarm Clock: Step 05

In this project, you will learn various modeing techniques - Sub-object modeling, splines, mirroring, modifiers and lathing. You will start with a primitive shape and convert it into an editable poly, which gives you access to the polygons, edges and vertices that make up the object. These can be manipulated individually to make more complex shapes. This is how you can make an alarm clock, a dragon, a car, or anything else from a simple cylinder. As always, you will also learn much more about lighting, cameras, rendering and materials, at the same time. Enjoy!
